So many food stalls with different dishes/snacks from different countries! I went for the Langos with pulled pork and avocado....absolutely delicious and creative! I also bought some spices from another stall. The prices are affordable, but compare to other places in Capetown, it was a bit more expensive..but still worth it! It's also well situated next to the Mall at the Waterfront and there are many possibilities to eat outside!

So many wonderful choices ! Great African cuisine, great coffee and pretty good service. The market atmosphere together with such a great variety of unusual food.

We visited the Food Market twice during our stay in Cape Town. The first visit was at lunchtime: fantastic - a great choice of food, much of it cooked to order, friendly stall holders and great value for money. On it’s own would have been a 5-star visit. But then we returned the following evening at about 6:45, as it turned out shortly before the 7pm closing time. Food stalls were still serving but very clearly in the process of closing down and the three stalls we purchased food from made it very clear by their body language that they’d have preferred it if we’d not bought anything from them. Having worked in the catering industry for many years I strongly believe that if you advertise a closing time you should stick to it and give as good service at the end of the day as do at the beginning. It was disappointing that this was not the case here and it ended up spoiling our evening. I really wish we’d chosen to go elsewhere on this occasion. This visit scored 1 so an average of 3.

There is a variety of food options: which is great. Each charges respective prices relative to the international clients.
The food is otherwise... alright...
There's a wide variety from sushi to Tunisian food, to burgers & Pizza... But I can't say any of it is great. Stall food market

I absolutely love this little food market conveniently located at the heart of the V&A Waterfront. The vibe is amazing and is a place you can hang out at with friends or your significant other.

The food served here is top notch and there is a wonderful variety. Our favourites were Woodies and Dr Juice. I also enjoyed Sundoo which makes delicious curries.
