I love this market so much.
I have been on a few occasions and there is no doubt a wide variety of food to choose from, including Italian, German, Japanese, Indian etc... there is alcohol available as well as gluten-free options, vegan options and vegetarian dishes.

If you go to the waterfront and want a quick bite to take away, this is a definite option.
The Market is usually only really great on a weekend, so when it is during the week it is a little bit dirty and empty.

The market business in Cape Town has grown during recent years. This is one of them. Offers goods, food and beverages for sale to visitors. One of many options at Waterfront. Worth a visit.

This place is very clean and offers a variety of local foods. I was so excited to get a fresh pressed juice after eating so much meat during our trip. They also have an incredible bakery with donuts the size of Lard Lad (the Simpsons). You must stop in and have a look around if you're in the wharf area.

We enjoyed fresh oysters with a glass of wine on two occasions from Knysna Oysters. We also enjoyed a pizza from the Italian place upstairs. Both pizzas were absolutely delicious with a super thin well cooked crust. One of the better pizzas I've had in the last few years.

Really great market and some amazing food. Was a little let down by how busy it was and had to push and shove through to get to food, with also very little seated areas while dining.
