I looked at a lot of different paragliding company reviews before choosing Fly Cape Town Paragliding and I'm very glad I did as there were a few disgruntled customers of other companies up at Signal Hill at the time we flew. My husband and I had paraglided before and we both enjoyed this flight more than our previous ones (mine in Chile, his in Austria) as there was good rapport with all the guys. I spoke to Johan in advance as my husband is just under the 135kg weight limit so we knew it would be touch and go if he could fly on the day. Fortunately, the conditions were excellent and Stephan made sure him and my husband had a good flight without any early landings! I flew with Tom who was great as well and we did lots of turns before landing. We also bought our GoPro photos and videos as we were pleased with how they came out.

Signal Hill is a beautiful spot to jump from but be aware that clearly the flight time is affected by the wind so you should go with an open mind about the amount of time you will be airborne. It is expensive but then what adrenaline sport is not, especially those that are one on one with an instructor? We really think it was worth it for a great memory of an amazing city and I hope we get to fly with the guys again in the future as we plan to go back to Cape Town.
