Invited by friends to a restaurant that we never heard about.
Nicely laid out restaurant with a fine veranda, but due to windy weather was not an option.
The chicken livers, ostrich carpaccio and salad were all excellent.
For mains the line fish was kingklip which was excellent, the beef fillet was rated amongst the best in Cape Town, the chicken supreme was very flavoursome.
The weakest of the mains was the lamb cutlets which were dry and over cooked.
For desert the creme brûlée was the best sampled in Cape Town but the panna cotta was a little stodgy.
Wines were reasonably priced.
Altogether a pleasant surprise.
