We stayed in a one bedroom apartment overlooking the little marina. The apartment was well equipped with all the necessities to prepare and cook meals if needed and a washer/dryer for those on longer stayed which we really appreciated. Also the beds were extremely comfortable! The apartments were in a great location just a few minutes from the V&A Waterfront and very secure. The staff were great and dropped reminders to the apartment with pick up details for our excursions which was very helpful.
One negative was that there was no WiFi in our apartment so we had to sit in the main reception area at the other end of the complex to get connected.

Dear MrsH200516

Thank you for your wonderful review. We take great pride in providing our guests with excellent service and we are delighted to read that you enjoyed our special touches.

Your feedback regarding Wi-FI is well noted, we are currently in process of upgrading all our apartments to Fibre connection to ensure all our guests have fast, stable internet that’s uncapped at a minimal charge. We are pleased to say that our Altmore block has been connected and its up and running.

Kind Regards

We stayed here for 4 days in April 2017 and I hated it couldn't wait to leave.
Such a shame though because it is situated close to the V&A waterfront which was nice.
We ate the best steak in some lovely restaurants and drank some fine wine, the big designer shopping centre was fab to
Check-in was fine and the guy was very helpful,he had a message to say our sharkdiving trip was cancelled and did get on the phone to travel people to question a refund I am still waiting for it.
They gave us a map to help get around, took our picture at security and drove us to our apartment so far so good.
No way was I staying in the first apartment it defo wasn't luxury and the main door didn't lock so we had to change apartments.
The second apartment was no beta very grubby needed updating but at least the main door in locked.
We spent very little time in the apartment,I paid for luxury but I didn't get it,also you are surrounded by the local community which I felt abit uncomfortable with at times.
I won't return,we saw better hotels around.

Room Tip: Our room was quiet and nicely located that's about it

Apart from this Apartment's good location, nothing else was really mind blowing. We didn't really have a view of the water canal from our unit's porch you had to stand. It was extremely noisy from the dockyard and the apartment was very hot with no AC unit and as our apartment was on the ground floor and not very private (just a orange traffic cone placed at the entrance) we couldn't leave the sliding doors open. The whole apartment needs a bit of TLC and when we took a bath, small black stones filled the bath. The bed was nice and apartment was clean but when we arrived in our room at 14:45pm after checking in at 12pm already the room was still not ready. If you can, spend a little more and go to the One and Only Hotel just a few blocks away if you're only staying a couple of nights.

I definitely would not call these "luxury apartments". My stay was adequate. The apartment was clean. The location was within walking distance of V and A waterfront. The wifi was slow and overpriced. There actually wasn't wifi available in my apartment, but they connected me to the apartment next door. There weren't many plugs available, so getting ready to go somewhere was a challenge. Check in wasn't as long as some other reviews would have you believe. There was a washer and dryer, which was handy.

We stayed at the Waterfront Village for 7 nights having booked through Virgin Holidays as an add on to our safari. We arrived about 7pm and were greeted in reception quickly and efficiently. Initial paperwork done we were driven round, with our bags, to the security booth were we had our photos taken and were given our keys. We were then taken to our apartment, all very efficient and quick, we were provided with maps of the "village" and informed of how to get to the Waterfront where all the shops and restaurants were and how to get to the main office from our apartment.
We had booked a one bedroom luxury apartment and this is were it gets a little disappointing. We were in a studio apartment with no separate bedroom so was not what we expected, the bed area was tiny with a small double bed (which was the most uncomfortable we have ever slept in we both slept better on the plane going from Johannesburg to the UK). There was only room on one side of the bed for a small shelf for the alarm clock there was no room on the other side of the bed before the wall. The wardrobes were find with plenty of hanging space and a few useable shelves but there were only two small drawers so not really adequate for a long stay. The bathroom was ok but there was no shaving mirror and there was only a walk in shower and no bath. The kitchen was fitted out with everything you would need and more and it contained a large fridge and freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer.
The best thing about this apartment was it's location, it was a 10 minute walk to the V&A Waterfront with all it's amenities, round the corner from the hop on-hop off city sightseeing buses etc.
Staff were good and friendly. Security was tight which made us feel very comfortable.
There is an issue with people coming and going through the main apartment doors as they talked loudly at night and let the doors bang perhaps not realising how much this echoed round the building especially for those of us on the ground floor.
Overall I would recommend but be aware if you have a one bedroom apartment that it is in fact only a studio apartment.
Wifi - we had to pay for wifi if we wanted it in the apartment which I found annoying as you can get wifi for free in restaurants and on buses these days.
