My wife has been wanting to take me to this venue for a while after she went there with a group of her girl friends. The bar is on along the waters edge and the constant sounds of waves breaking is priceless. There a a background view of the Harbour, the mountain and waterfront. The ambience is beyond words. The snack platters are well worth it. The service is a bit slow but this was not a problem as one can work around. This has now become my favorite bar spot,

Excellent location. Friendly staff, had just one incident of total negligence during one dinner. The menu for dinner is not diverse enough. The rooms are not really 5 stars, 3 at most. No complaints but not so exciting. Recommended.

The hotel is located adjacent to the Water Front entertainment area, and is literally on the rocks where the waves break. If you like this - which I do - ask for a sea facing room, open the doors to your balcony and fall asleep to breaking waves and seagulls songs. It is one of my favourite and most relaxing hotel experiences. The terraces and bar on the rocks is worth going to even if you stay somewhere else.

Modern hotel about 10 minute walk from harbor in Cape Town....absolutely beautiful spot for breakfast watching dolphins with a great buffet breakfast (along with options for custom eggs/omelets). This was our base for the first 3 days of our Southern Africa trip!

Room Tip: we had rooms overlooking the water and left the doors open at night to enjoy the sound of surf....woke up seeing dolphins most mornings!

what an amazing view! The service is great until chuck out time. nevertheless - a good spot to book small workshop or conference - all in one - if you not happy with the food - you have the entire waterfront at your disposal.
