The Radisson is a lovely hotel that is well kept, always neat and friendly and yet somehow maintains a balance of being welcoming as well.

I've been to visit friends and enjoyed many meals there. The view is stunning and the food is very good.

It is a little bit pricey, but to be honest, it's worth it.

We were upgraded to Business class so we stayed on the second floor. Not only was our room huge but it also had a balcony fronting the Atlantic Ocean. It was fun to watch the traffic (sailboats, ocean kayaks, speedboats, party boats, etc.) and the sea gulls drinking from the fresh water pool from our balcony. The weather was perfect, cool in the mornings, turning hot as the day went on. Housekeeping was responsive when we asked for extra towels. They made sure we had enough Nespresso capsules everyday. The Tobago restaurant was not busy in the evenings when we had our dinner. We had a different waitress or waiter each time and all were personable and attentive to detail. The front desk personnel were also friendly and competent. The Johannesburg Radisson Blu offers a glass of champagne to its customers. I wonder why the Radisson Blu Waterfront doesn't. The lobby and public areas were always clean. I'd recommend this hotel to my friends. If I were in Cape Town, I'd stay here again.

We stayed here recently at the start of our Garden Route trip for 3 nights. The service was excellent with very friendly and attentive staff who couldn't do enough for us (Ashley and Micheal were amongst those).The location is great, fabulous selection for breakfast enjoyed whilst watching dolphins playing. A short walk from the V & A, or a regular shuttle trip if required. The reason we didn't give this a 5 is because dinner was disappointing. We had the lamb shank which was mediocre at best . Also, we choose a non sea facing room and the room we were given was squashed into the corner of the building and quite small. The bed, however, was very comfortable.
