In December cape town city centre is a buzz...
Making sure you get the right hotel or B&B is crucial to ensure your day trips is backed by some proper R&R

I chose to stay at parliament Hotel in barrack street in cape town.. This is my experience..
A clean hotel with shining floors a with a well lit passage way and always a friendly face who greets u at reception.

The bookings is a breeze and help is always on offer to take your baggage to your quaters.

As you leave reception you take a flight of stairs up to where you will get an old but not forgotten lift..

The room i stayed was on the 5th floor.. I was greeted by an clean and bright lit passage which led to my room..

Inside my living quaters was a dubble bed with clean bedding
A desk a chair a tv on a tv stand two bedlight lamps and bedside drawers. There was a cupboard with enough packing space to easily accommodate a week or 2's journey..
It had a safe deposit box. An aircon unit is fitted which would blow you cold quicker than you can say wow
The bathroom looked fresh and modern fitted with an shower toilet and wash basin finished by a stunning mirror and special holders for your toiletries.

Pro's and con's of staying at Parliament Hotel
Pro's
*clean
*friendly staffed
*safe enviroment
*comfortable room with a quality bed aircon and rest room
*breakfast is well served although a limited variety still fresh and very refreshing
*the hotel is centred in the cbd a couple blocks away from famous long street
*the police station is a stone throw away from the hotel
*uber taxi is always 5 min away

Con's
-very limited Tv channel with no real DSTV Channels.. Mostly only sport
-my aircon airvent flap was broken so i had to maneuver it to get it to work properly

Will i ever go to that hotel again... YES.. Fantastic hotel especially for a 3 star accommodation facility

Friendly and polite staff, they made me feel welcome and almost like it would have been a luxury hotel.

Good breakfast, clean room. The view from the window was nothing to see though.

Good location if you want to be close to city centre.

Very clean. The staff were very helpful. Location is excellent to explore the city'so history. Freda was extremely helpful in booking our golf tee times and getting us great rates. Avoid first floor due to the noise from the busy street

Hotel is very well placed with very kind staff. The breakfast included is good. The hotel is close to the green market (around 10 min walking), where you can buy very good african stuff. The region is safe to walk, even late night.
