Great stay

5.0 of 5 bubblesReviewed 21 Jun 2017
The Cape Town Hollow is a great place to stay. The staff is very nice. The food is great and the rooms are comfortable. We stayed there 2 nights. The breakfast has all that you could want from eggs to bacon to your choice of bread and fruit. It is a great place to start your busy day seeing the sights of Cape Town. After using different internet sources, we decided to stay here. The price was good. I look forward to staying here if in Cape Town again.

My wife and I had a great week staying at this hotel. The location is good being in the centre of the city but across the road from the company gardens. Staff were great and we had no problems. Thanks.

Room tip: Table mountain views good but some street noise early in the morning but this is a city.

This was the start of our holiday in SA, and it was the perfect location to break us in. Location wise its at the top of Long Street which is great of some bars and restaurant as well as being close to Kloof Street which we actually enjoy a little more than Long Street.
Hotel was great, room were large and clean, food was great (Breakfast and Dinner) and best of all the guys working there were very nice and helpful.
Just a great little hotel.
Tip - we used the MyCiti bus services a lot which was excellent, very safe and very cheap, you can get a card from the SPAR close by on Kloof St.

Room tip: They have Table Mountain facing rooms if you fancy it - may cost a little more however.

My husband and I spend 5 nights here on our recent trip to Africa. This hotel was great. The staff was very friendly and gave us great advice for getting around Cape Town safely and efficiently. The rooms were excellent and exactly as pictured. They are cozy and have a great view. The breakfast was also delicious! The only downside was that the wifi wasn't the best. It worked, but it was very slow and you could only have one device connected at a time. Not ideal if you have to get some work done while on your trip. The plus side is there are a lot of great coffee shops within walking distance if you need an internet fix.

Room tip: The mountain view rooms are definitely worth it! Table Mountain throughout different weather conditions and times of day was phenomenal!

This was a nice place to stay for 4 nights on our trip. Just at the bottom of table mountain.
You must do table mountain if you visit Cape Town as the views are stunning.
Main waterfront is only 10 minutes in a taxi but everything is cheap so not a problem.

The staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful. It also had semi good wifi.

We also did did robben island ( nelson madella's jail home for a good 20 plus years )
You get a water taxi across from the waterfront - but you probably need to book in advance as this gets quite busy.
