On busy road a short walk from Victoria and Albert Waterfront. Suite rooms with large lounge/kitchen area and very uncomfortable furniture. Tiny attached bedroom with comfortable bed but unable to fully open bathroom door off bedroom. Hallways narrow and twisting with stained carpet. Breakfast buffet few choices. Staff friendly and helpful.
Main entrance through a locked gate and up steep stairs or through the underground car park does not give good first impression!

Lovely hotel located in Greenpoint, a 5 minute walk away from the V&A. The guest room was comfortable and had all the conveniences we could need with a fantastic view of the waterfront and stadium. Wifi is free and reliable. The parking is a bit tight for a large vehicle, but we managed with a 4×4. We enjoyed the breakfast as they offered a large selection that catered to all of our tastes. I would definitely recommend a stay here.

This is quirky all-suites hotel near both the V&A Waterfront and Center City, both a 15 – 20 minute walk. Front facing rooms have nice balconies overlooking the waterfront and heavily traveled roads and rear rooms face Table Mountain. The hotel has a small apartment feel with kitchenettes that provide some relief from dining out. There are multiple restaurants within a 10 minute walk as well as food shops (Spar and Woolworth’s) where one can stock up for the kitchenette. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Bathrooms are rather odd with the water efficient sink faucet mostly spraying the counter and showers about the size of a cruise ship. The lobby location is up several stories from the street and is entered by a steep staircase or elevator through the parking garage. Front staff is efficient if not overly outgoing and they should be empowered to make decisions that are not material to the hotel operation; the rest of the staff is very friendly. The location seemed safe even when walking back from restaurants in the evening but expect some panhandling at night. There were some issues with power and the internet on the first day which were quickly resolved. There is a pool which appeared to need cleaning. The restaurant seemed rather deserted at most times. Note that there are few benefits for Rewards members (no lounge or complimentary breakfast); however, the room was upgraded which was a plus. Based on this experience, the hotel is one that is recommended.

Totally over-priced for a basic single room - overlooking a busy and noisy road. They do not inform you that the fee EXCLUDES breakfast. If you knew it is excluded, you will not eat there. Breakfast area was dirty, some tables were not cleared for a while after people finished. Not even coffee served at the table - you have to go by yourself around the corner from the food to find coffee. The breakfast itself was not bad, but considering they charge R175 for it, you can get 100 times better and nicer breakfast at ANY other place.

Room Tip: Higher floors have less noise from the road and a nice view. Ask about fees that is included or not

This hotel is in a great location and the staff is great. My room was more a suite and had a kitchen, lounge and separate bedroom area. It is clean and well maintained. The biggest disappointment is the food. The menu is very limited. I ended up settling for room service and ordered my steak medium but it came well-done. I ordered a chocolate lava dessert and they brought me a malva pudding that tasted like it was made a month before. The bread and pastry during breakfast was all stale. Two of my colleagues would not eat the pastry either due to lack of freshness. In short, the hotel is fine for sleeping purposes but get your food elsewhere.
