We stayed at this hotel for 5 nights. The staff friendly and lots on duty at reception.
The breakfast ok with a variety of cereals, fruit, and eggs cooked anyway you required.
Unfortunately our room was a let down. Half sea view hidden by another tall building.
The room was small with the tiniest bathroom we have ever seen.
The air con was extremely noisy and we had to turn it off when going to bed.
The room was in much need of a complete refurbishment. No fridge in the room would have thought a must in a warm country!!!! The carpet in our room was badly stained with
red wine and needed a good cleaning
The corridor to the lift again needed a paint job.

We used the courtesy bus from the hotel to the Waterfront which was good as it's a good 2 hours plus to walk to the Waterfront

We enjoyed our stay in Cape Town but unfortunately the hotel was a let down

Room Tip: Ask to see your room first

Dear Liz K

Thank you for taking the time to send us your comments of the hotel. I am sorry to hear your did not like the standard room you stayed in. We do have several types of rooms and our Executive and Superior Rooms are much larger in size. We do not carry fridges in our standard rooms and only our our Executive, Family and Suites are equipt with fridges . I am glad to hear that our staff lived up to their service standards and will pass on your praises to the Reception Desk.

Kind Regards
Nick

Dear sarahkI4493YC

Thank you for your review. I am sorry about the situation with the bed. You were booked in a Standard Room, however requested to move to a Sea-Facing Room. We did explain that there were only Twin Rooms available as all our Doubles were booked. We did make the bed up as a double, but unfortunately the mattresses did not line up. I am sorry for the inconvenience caused. I am glad to hear that our staff did live up to your service expectations and will pass on the praises to the HOD's

Kind Regards
Nick

The staff here are amazing - so friendly and helpful.
Our two rooms weren't ready when we arrived , but the helpful staff took our bags up to our room for us whilst we were out. Our booking was made through a package holiday , and I probably wouldn't have booked it independently. Our rooms weren't sea facing , and they were a but old fashioned with tiny bathrooms , but they were clean and offered complementary bottled water . Our booking was bed and breakfast, and the breakfast was very good - fresh filter coffee , fresh fruit
, and wonderful freshly made omelettes- we sat outside which was lovely .The hotel offers a undercover car park , which was very useful- the guys outside were so helpful at sorting out the car parking and any taxis . I think the complementary shuttle service to the waterfront is fantastic, and much appreciated. There wasn't much of an atmosphere in the evening in the hotel , but there is a small bar with restricted seating - the lounge area is a bit sad , with a ripped leather sofa and torn curtains ! But , your entertainment is at the waterfront after all !
I would not hesitate at staying here again . I would definitely book a sea view room next time though . The staff were the best thing about this hotel - so friendly .

Room Tip: Get a sea view room

Despite our room had old furniture, it was big, clean and with a nice view. Breakfast is excellent, with many options.
The localization is excelent!
But the excellence is the satff. All so kind, helpful and friendly. We used the free transfer to Waterfront every day during our stay, and was so well assisted!
Lovely days in Capetown and in this hotel! We will never forget you!

Room Tip: Search for the superior executive rooms. They are newer.

Dear Rosaly G

I am so glad you had such a wonderful time at the hotel. I am lucky to have such a warm and friendly team working with me. They understand guest service and always go out of their way to assist our guests and thank you for noticing. The shuttle is a little add on we have for our guests and a wonderful way for them to explore the Waterfront

I do hope you will be able to visit us soon

Kind Regards
Nick

The service were efficient and friendly. The parking below the hotel gives you the peace of mind that your vehicle is safe at night. The situation is close enough to the Waterfront and the city which makes it easy and quick to reach the places that you intend to visit.
