The Table Bay Hotel

We were greeted by caring staff who took us to our rooms and showed us how to use the espresso machine and where the soft robes and slippers were located. The breakfasts were glorious, with fresh fruit and baked goods, and warm eggs to name a few. Our views of the waterfront were beautiful, whether we were standing in our hotel room or having breakfast on the main floor. We really felt welcomed.

The hotel also offers a free shuttle to table top mountain, among other perks. And the location of the hotel lets guests walk around the entire water front and visit the cute shops on the pier. We would definitely stay here again, and again.

This was a great hotel - room service, staff, amenities all good. Only issue we had was the Camissa Brasserie restaurant - food was very average for the stature of the hotel. Better to eat out at one of the V&A Waterfront restaurants.

This hotel is a grand hotel, with lovely rooms, beautiful lobby, very nice dining room and bar and a really delicious breakfast buffet. The view from most of the rooms are over the ocean or looking at the harbor. The service was very good. And the surprise was the escalator to the shopping center next door with many great restaurants. We were celebrating an anniversary and were given champagne and wonderful desserts! Would highly recommend this hotel to everyone!

Room Tip: Rooms facing the front look at the ocean, the rooms facing the back look over the harbor and the sho...

From the moment we got out of car, the staff at this hotel was amazing. The bellman could not have been friendlier, immediately engaged us and started telling us about hotel. All smiles everywhere you looked. Then the manager sees us, directs us to desk. Says we may have to wait for room, we say no problem we will start roaming around. Few minutes later we are told we have a room. Chcek in was fast and very friendly.

Cocierge at this hotel was VERY friendly and very helpful. Sometimes you dread using concierge, not here. Restaurant, activity, suggestions? Just ask. Done.

Breakfast each morning was great.

Rooms are very nice, very clean and the tub is excellent.

Cannot say enough about how nice the lobby area is. Postcard worthy everywhere you look.
Go to the BAR. The staff in there is over the top. Have Ryan make you his signature martini. Awesome. Bradley the manager is constantly keeping all staff on their toes, but he has a great laugh and as with all of Table Bay staff, great smile.

Only hotel I have ever just not wanted to leave. I am ready to go back NOW.

One thing to improve? Ok, softer pillows.

Room Tip: back side rooms have excellent views of the marina and mountains in distance

We travelled with a tour group and was lucky enough to get one of the rooms facing the waterfront with Table Mountain at the back. Room was really spacious and the bed was comfy. Particularly like the fact that there's a separate small room for the actual toilet so I could still use the wash basin or take a bath when someone is using the toilet.
The breakfast was amazing, great selection of food - loved the yoghurt bar! They even had oyster at the buffet - though one out of the three oysters I had was bad...
The hotel is also conveniently linked to the mall and there's a supermarket It's a touristy area but still very nice - reminds me of the Fisherman's wharf at San Francisco.

Overall a great hotel and I would love to be back.

Room Tip: ask for a room facing Table Mountain!
