Nice location along the promenade. We ate a casual dinner here (recommended by our guide). It was fantastic! We enjoyed flatbreads and a variety of smaller meals for our dinner. Everything was great. We sat outside and it was a bit cool. They have blankets for you, which was very much appreciated! Casual dining, great food, watching the world go by - we definitely recommend it!

We stopped at Sotanos for an early dinner on a Saturday night and really enjoyed both the view and our food. I had the salmon salad off the sushi menu and it was very generous portions of raw salmon slices layered over a base of julienne veggies. With a bit of soy sauce, it was terrific.

My husband had the salmon roses (very good) and the tempura prawn california rolls (excellent!).

Food was good. Service was good. Prices were reasonable. We'll be back!

Sotano is across the road from the seafront in Mouille Point.
The food is really great, atmosphere amazing and they have various artists performing live music on Friday and Saturday nights.

Me and a friends wanted to go for a brisk walk on the promenade + have a bite to eat. Since I wished to take the dog with me, the place had to be dog friendly. Sotano was a great choice! Beautiful view, the dog was given a water bowl. Sotano omlette was filling. Service was quick.

Only hickups was that they didn't accept my card (invalid Pin?!) , luckily I had cash on me.

Prices Sotano omlette R75, hot chocolate R35

Coffee took 15 min to come to our table, cold. Food took 45 min to arrive after ordering. Food arrived very cold, sent back cold toast and very undercooked sausage. Sausage came back and was still too undercooked to eat. Paid, walked out only for the waiter to chase us down as he’d given us the wrong bill. Will not recommend this spot to anyone.
