Loved the food part when I plunked down there for a solo breakfast but the place was a bit soulless and sterile otherwise. Staff were not nasty, but just very 'polite' and nothing else. The crowd was mostly families enjoying a lazy weekend breakfast like me so there was no reason to be so uptight. Peculiar. Spend some money buying locally made jams and those were very much appreciated by my host that night. Would go again but would bring friends to make sure I would feel more at ease.

After several visits to this exceptional eatery we are still in love with the food, the staff, service, the decor - everything just blends in, you feel the vibe of goodness here.
The food, juices, hot drinks and cocktails are just divine. Stylish, unpretentious with a difference. Really good food. Don't forget to try the sweet treats (fig and strawberry tart, pear and quince crumble, chocolate brownies, etc, etc .. all so very delicious ! ). Have to go back soon.. Outstanding !

We spent the afternoon at this gem in Cape Town city, celebrating my brother in laws birthday. The food was spectacular, I had the pepper crusted calamari which really was crispy and tasty. Also the range of fruit juices are incredible.

What a surprise this turned out to be. The staff are friendly and makes one feel at home immediately. The Vietnamese coffee is out of this world and well worth the trip. Breakfast is served all day and although the menu is fairly small the food is delicious. Ordered cailiflower soup with truffels for starters. It was smooth and creamy and could make a meal all on its own. Eggs benedict were perfectly soft. Bobotie meatballs were tasty. Portions are more than adequate. So, if you are in Cape Town, it is well worth looking for a parking space to have a bite to eat here. We will definitely go here again.

come here for creative fusion food with local dishes and ingredients. Exquisite design and personal service. This is an exquisite contemporary bohemian eatery in Cape Town that you will fall in love with.
