We visited this resto two times and order the prawn ravioli twice which is really good as well as the risotto.
Good job to the chef and the management.

Team year end lunch. Service was impeccable, waitron attentive. Oyster starter, fresh and succulent, arrived within minutes. All starters thoroughly enjoyed. Just one flaw, my Manager from Gauteng and I had pasta - prawn ravioli and vegetarian gnocci. Very little flavour. Chilli and garlic offered, made it a garlic and chilli pasta. Everyone else raved about their mains. Then of course the views...I will return, but not for a pasta.

First off let me say that I am a Cape Town local born and bred, so naturally at this time of the year when all the visitors arrive in the Cape, I am fully aware of the hussle and bussle that goes on in our restaurants and I can certainly appreciate that some things might take a little longer than usual. Having made no reservation for lunch, we arrived on the back foot of a waiter who was clearly not happy about our unannounced seating. Realising this, we thought it would be easier for us to decide our starters and mains at once so that he could put it through as well as order the drinks. 20 minutes later, we were still waiting for the drinks.
Our food was disappointing to say the least. So much so that my colleague left starving because she simply couldn't eat the chicken that she ordered. It was so dried out (as if left on the pass for much too long) and completely tasteless. The Kingklip didn't leave much to be desired either.
According to some studies statistically, communication is made up of 55% body language, 38% voice tone and the balance are the actual words. This waiter made it very clear that he was not happy by our "intrusion" to his day and we were made to feel most unwelcomed. Makes one think how Its ironic it is that their website refers to: "With welcoming staff on hand to cater to all palates..."

This place have some great sea food speciality. The starters in Calamari was very good. Well prepared and presented. The main dish was also very well made, rightly flavored and was well balanced.

The ambience is good but for sure can be better and less noisy. The seating arrangement is a little cramped. The staff are friendly and courteous.

Thank Sony S
