We've been going to la Boheme for years and used to rave about its great food, lively atmosphere and reasonable prices, and take all our friends there. But it seems they've become a victim of their own early success:
The starters mostly haven't changed in years and new additions, e.g tomato soup?!, are pretty shoddy, certainly not eclectic bistro fare. They're also all much smaller than before (esp the carpaccio) but much more expensive. The mains are still generally fine but, again, same old things but far more expensive than they used to be, (even taking into account inflation). The service is, frankly, indifferent (we had to remind several times just to get the bread sticks and the water).
We're sad to say you are no longer our go-to dinner spot. A real shame.
