We sat outside in the courtyard garden, and both had the 6 course tasting menu (a choice at several points all made at the beginning), with the recommended wine flight. This menu includes a number of elements from the tapas menu served at lunchtime and weekends, and is a wonderful sequence of interesting flavour and texture combinations, including some Cape Malay influences. The quality of the service is outstanding - a constant circulation through the tables ensuring everyone is well looked after, and each course and wine described in good detail as it is served. I particularly liked the fact that we were asked when we wanted to move on to our next course, rather than having the pace of service dictated to us. This is a special place in every regard, and was a highlight of our visit to Cape Town. We also thought that it represented fantastic value for money for the quality of what was on offer.
