Stayed here for the last 5 nights on a long SA holiday. We were greeted ast reception in a really friendly manner and were allocated a top floor room with a great view of Table Mountain out of the window. This Executive room was large and had everything we wanted. Maid service was good and kept room very clean. Be aware this is a dry hotel being situated in a Muslim Quarter and if you want an alcoholic drink you have to be admitted to the Executive Lounge where you can have breakfast, snacks and soft drinks also. All staff were courteous and nothing could be too much trouble for them. Checked out at 11am and were allowed back in at 4pm to use gym showers and towels before departing for airport for evening flight. Can highly recommend this hotel.

As it was my dads birthday, I had ordered a bottle of champagne for their room through Hilton so it could be given to them, its been 3 days they since they arrived at the hotel and they still have not received the bottle. When I called Hilton to follow up on this order they passed me to 3 different departments, no one was helpful at all and eventually ended up hanging up on me.

Exceptional service at every turn. Staff go above and beyond to accommodate and anticipate guest needs. Rooms are clean, spacious and well appointed. Location is right on the parade route for New Years so you have a clear view of it! Very special! Good location overall and shuttle service to the waterfront. Great value for money and nice amenities (pool, dining, executive lounge, etc).

Letter to the Executive Manager

Mr. Chalfoun,

I wanted to send a quick note of appreciation for the high level of customer service and satisfaction Elaine & I received while staying at your Capetown Hilton location. Seldom in my US (domestic) or International travel have I experienced a team who exhibits such a exceptional display of commitment and enthusiasm we encountered...regardless of their position.

For example, Bee at check-in set the tone, equally impressive were by MaryAnn, Khanya, Paul, and Lilian. Icing on the cake was Munya who personally greeted us . I know I left a few names out...but the fact I can remember those who made our visit extra special should give you an idea of how each of these people are incredible ambassadors...not only to our Capetown experience, but the Hilton brand.

Unfortunately I didn't get the opportunity to meet you, but without knowing you I can surmise it's your superior team building ability, leadership and positive drive for employee enthusiasm which continually influences the entire team to reach beyond their grasp...and they did !!!

Providing you have no objections, I would like to send this letter of recognition to Hilton Corporate and a few travel web site's as well....global travelers need to know where to find a home away from home.

Thanks again.

We stayed in the Hilton for three days during our visit to Cape Town. We enjoyed the Bo-Kaap location, both close to the city center (easy walking distance) but also easily accessible by car.

The wine, nuts and biltong that we ordered through the app were in our room on arrival. Both quality and quantity perfect. Thank you!

As gold memberds, we had access to the executive lounge during our stay. We had breakfast there all three mornings and also visited in the late afternoon/early evening when they serve pre-dinner snacks. Great lounge, good food and even their made to order eggs are complimentary! We are not big eaters, so their evening snacks served as a perfect light dinner.

The only disappointment during the stay was a smelly shower drain (which we mentioned twice but wasn't resolved) and the pool that was almost empty, although that isn't something that the hotel is to blamed for. Due to the water shortage they were simply not allowed to top up the pool.

All in all a great stay and we will most certainly be back here.
