Unfortunately only had one night here, but that night is memorable for the overall experience. Luxury room on the top floor with panoramic views of Cape Town. Great location close to the city and railway station. Service was impeccable, and arranged an early morning breakfast tray outside of restaurant hours.

Room tip: Pre-dinner drinks at Swankeys Bar will only add to the experience.

We spent 3 nights on the Taj's concierge floor after our safari. What a treat! It is worth spending the extra dollars. The staff was incredible, the food and drink was delicious, rooms were beautiful and we could walk across the hall to the gym, lap pool and sauna. I would highly recommend this Taj. Only wished we stayed a few more days! So much to see and do in Capetown. So we will be back!

Service, food, rooms with views to table mountain. Wonderful breakfast chauffeur services, incredible spa. Lovely Indian food and international restaurant, sophisticated decoration. Go to the bar next door Twankey and ask for AJ top bartender and you will start your evening with best cocktails in town. Must Stay

Fantastic hotel, impeccable service and superb rooms. The location is in the heart of Cape Towns CBD close to the V&A waterfront. Superb restaurant within the Taj. The staff are friendly and always willing to assist when needed. I would recommend this to anyone staying in Cape Town

Extremely poor hotel for this rating and price range. Very poor service and poor communication skills of staff. Hotel rests on laurels of the prestigious history and location. Very poor effort of staff to make the stay a memorable or enjoyable experience. Checked out three nights earlier and checked into a much nicer boutique hotel.
