We had the tasting menu and a bottle of wine. It was very well priced and awesome food. Especially the fish curry! Highly recommend for a nice evening with great food & entertainment.

We went with friends of ours who had been last year. They had described the evening as very good but complained that they had not been able to see much of the show so we had asked for a better table this time. We got a good table and a complimentary glass of champagne for a return visit. We had our faces painted by one of the delightful waitresses and all had a good laugh at each other. The service was good and the food was delicious. I wish I could have eaten more – you can ask for more of anything you particularly like and I think this is a definite plus. The only thing that slightly disappointed us was the “show” as we were only treated to 3 songs and dances. We would have liked to see more. There is a set price for the meal consisting of 14 different dishes and all drinks are extra.

An absolute must if you are visiting Cape Town.
Incredible African food in the form of a set taster menu .....although they do ask if you have any dietary requirements.
Very friendly staff who bend over backwards to ensure you have a great evening.
And African dancing and music going on all through the evening
Very authentic
They even paint your face with African face paint..... if you want

We were invited by our travel agency for the last evening of our tour. The show starts around 6:30 pm with a "drum lesson". The menu has 14 small courses which are rather tapas portions. The food is okay but nothing extravagant.

Amazingly, a group of 10 to 12 Arab women, all with Niqab, was there, taking pictures of the performers on stage. This was funny because the performed kind of made fun of the situation.

All-in-all: You don't miss much if you skip this event.

Lots of energy, impromptu bongo lesson for all diners, entertainment from dancers and singers, wonderful 7 course meal served by very kind wait staff, this was a great experience! I would recommend this restaurant as a must attend while visiting Cape Town, SA.
