This place really does encourage food sharing and is a great place to try new dishes.
The staff were super helpful in explaining the menu and helping us choose.
The wasabi is the best I have ever tasted and the coconut rice to die for.
There is an unwritten CapeTown tradition of allowing you to take our leftovers home a new here you may want to because the portions are big!
The staff were great and were super helpful is ensuring we had a taxi / Uber home.
Wonderful place and you should definitely visit if in Cape Town.
Loved the atmosphere.

Haiku offer a very varied Asian fusion experience, with 5 distinct kitchens preparing a variety of Kantonese/Chinese, Thai, Indian and Japanese dishes. The service was very attentive, admittedly the restaurant was not yet very busy when we visited at luchtime.
The decor is pleasing though dark, given the long and narrow room with no windows. Our friendly waitress provided full explanations and remained attentive throughout our meal.
We focussed on the Dim Sum, Hakka Noodles and Honey Chicken and were very pleasantly impressed with the quality of food and presentation and the authenticity of the dishes. Bear in mind that South African bite-sizes are usually somewhat larger than those in other parts of the world...
We look forward to repeating and sampling other regional foods.
