Four of us had breakfast at Primi Piatti on 17 December 2017. The experience was terrible.
First, the food: two of us opted for the french toast. It was bland and the promise of maple syrup remained just that - a promise. There was probably half a teaspoon of maple syrup to cover a whole croissant worth of french toast! The toast itself was dry and very bland. My daughter decided on a croissant which was meant to be served with home made jam. She ordered a side of scrambled eggs and cheese. The cheese never made it to the table and the home made jam (which arrived in time to accompany the last bite of croissant) was certainly not home made. Instead store bought apricot jam was served. My partner ordered the house breakfast and said that it was mediocre at best.
Second, the service: despite being aware that we had less than an hour available, service was extremely slow. It took almost 25 minutes for our drinks to arrive (and another 10 for the water I ordered) and almost 45 minutes for the food to arrive. Getting the bill paid was also a time consuming exercise. Add to this the fact that the waiter was unfamiliar with the menu and it makes for an unpleasant experience.
I will not be back.
