“Good vibe”
Review of Love Thy Neighbour

Love Thy Neighbour
Ranked #397 of 1 304 Restaurants in Cape Town Central
Description: Authentic Greek and Cypriot food in the heart of the CBD. The Meze menu is built to share and encourages traditional Mediterranean mealtime. Indulge in bowls of hummus and taramasalata, served with warm fresh pita breads. All meat and fish are grilled on outdoor wood-burning fires producing food that is genuine, unique and privileges local, organic produce.

We went there as a group of 5. Not knowing where to have dinner, we saw this lovely garden and immediately made our decision! The garden is pretty and has a great vibe. Food is delicious and we liked the aubergine fries very much!

It was a warm night so we sat in the garden and could see the grill. None of us is vegetarian there was no question that we chose some of the meat dishes. We ate burger, lamb chops and steak. It was fresh and delicious. In the menu there are also many dishes without meat. Vegetarians will find a tasty meal as well. The staff was kind and courteouse.

This was a very cheerfull and upbeat experience. The staff was very friendly and the food was tastefully prepared. You share tables with everyone so if you want a quite intimate evening this might be a problem. We enyoyed this experience. For 2 people our bill incl tip was R 500.

This is a very cool place for a drink and a bite to eat. There is a courtyard where the chef cooks food on a BBQ we eat here a few times organic and very tasty. Even hot roasted olives with a glass of wine. Staff go beyond the call of duty. There is fantastic live music in the great looking bar. We went here more than any other bar it was great to get away from the over busy waterfront. This is where the locals go for good reason.
