Everything was first class and the staff could not do enough for us.
Large room, well appointed. Luxury courtesy car available when needed.
My favorite restaurant (NOBU) right in the hotel.
And with the strength of the US$ all was quite reasonable

We has a 4 night stay here in a 2 bedroom suite on the island side of hotel. The room or 2 bedrooms interning with a huge dining rom and lounge plus kitchen to make simply the biggest suite I've been in - all seemed too huge for just the 4 of us!?!? The greeting from all staff as you arrive to checkin and from that point on is other worldly... everyone remembers or learns your names including the children for personal service and no one can do enough for you. The concierge team are simply outstanding as we had various challenges tasking them to return hire cars change an sort restaurant bookings and far more difficult in finding on site activities to entertain our 12 and 9 year old cherubs as they felt the kids club was too 'young' for them... nothing posed a problem and JOSHUA EGAN in particular (but all staff were great) took it upon himself to get my two paddle boarding cycling on water and decorating cakes before I could say 'cocktail of the day' please. He even escorted them to where they needed to be .... The staff here are gems! Negatives for us was quality of restaurant food in the evening at Reubans their main restaurant - it was basically empty (2 other tables in a vast restaurant; and the mediocre deforested food and super slow service in taking orders etc is the reason why... such a shame and money loser ...this could be so easily sorted!! There are so many awesome place to eat in Cape Towns waterfront ... don't bother waiting an evening by eating here!

stayed here as the base of our stay in the Greater Cape Town area for 5 days. the hotel is perfectly situated near the waterfront affording you great access to day and night activities in and around the waterfront. The security was exceptionally high and the staff was incredibly welcoming and hospitable. The only negative I would point out is that the lobby and decor is starting to look a bit tired and worn and its probably time for a spruce up.

Room tip: stay away from the wing over the Nobu restaurant as their venting is in need of repair & you can smell cooked food in the hallway.

We stayed here on the last leg of our honeymoon. What an incredible property to stay at- the room was gorgeous and spacious, the staff was incredibly friendly, and the dining options were great. In particular, we experienced one of the best staff members we've ever had while at the hotel that made our stay here stand out from every other resort-- Chene (spelling) who I believe is interning, provided services that one would expect from a seasoned hotelier. She went out of her way to create a personalized itinerary for my wife and I while visiting and then followed up twice personally to ensure it exceeded our expectations. Overall, we had an amazing stay here and would recommend it to others visiting cape town.

What a perfect locale. Out our window was the perfect view of Table Mountain and the bustling city below. The room was quite large and comfortable with a separate soaking tub and shower, large bed and couch and very comfortable veranda. It became our oasis.

The breakfast restaurant was very good and the food was excellent. The bar was fantastic, and the bartender helped my wife and I try different types of SA gins. We loved it.

Our last night there, we sat at the sushi table in Nobu. The food was great as would be expected. But the friendliness and openness of the chef and wait staff, made us feel like we were in someones home. We sat there for two hours and frankly hated to leave.

This hotel is excellent
