We found Beleza just around the corner from our hotel. And it’s is a wonderful find !

We both had the vegetarian pasta and it was excellent. Gnocchi Gorgonzola and the Tomato and Mozzarella fettuccini and for dessert we both had Italian Malva.

The staff are excellent and very attentive. The atmosphere was very relaxed and chilled. It’s a great spot to have a coffee and sit by the window watching the world go by.

The decor is rustic and homely with some quirky touches.

If your in this part of town it’s worth a visit and you won’t be disappointed.

AVOID THIS RESTAURANT. The pizzas were not very good. after we gave one back without eating it, the waitress told us that the dessert were offered. Once she came back with the bill, we realized that we had to pay the desserts, but also 4 more limoncello that we didn't take, the pizza we gave back was also in the bill. We asked to pay by dollar, the dollar was 20% overcharged. After complaining to the manager, the boss threatened me. He told me that he would put me to sleep in front of my sons. This is the worst experience in a restaurant in my whole life.

First the heat : the feeling to enter in an oven when the weather outside at 8 pm is pleasantly cool. If you want to avoid this chose the veranda. In our case there was no space. For the rest, the food was rather good, unhelped by the heat then. Same for the wine. A rather ok time as we got used to the heat. But should / could have been better.

This restaurant is opened for business on Sundays unlike almost all of the neighborhood restaurants. My wife and I went in without any reservation and were seated immediately at a table which wasn't prepared for service. The cutlery was dirty which bits of food left on it. Obviously no one took the extra step to wipe clean all cutlery coming out of the dishwasher.
We shared a starter namely springbok carpaccio. The salad weren't super fresh and the carpaccio was average. Our server didn't bring any salt and pepper shaker to our table . For mains, we had peri peri prawns with rice and the Trinchada rump steak. The prawns weren't super fresh and the sauce lacked depth. The rump steak sauce was too thin and sour. Our rump steak was 1 of 3 orders that were simultaneously served at two adjoining tables. The steak was barely warm as if it wasn't flame grilled on order. We noticed that other customers were a bit agitated when trying to attract the attention of waitresses. We did notice a signage that this restaurant is looking to hire waitresses. BTW a TA review posted in January also highlighted that there were such vacancies too. Our server appeared to have an indifferent attitude towards customer service.
In summary, much of the clientele on Sunday is by way of default as most restaurants are closed. We don't wish to recommend this restaurant and will never return.
