Very welcoming place with vast menu - not only Middle Eastern basics but several unexpected touches. Vegan or vegetarian paradise.

Great food, exceptional atmosphere and you're served by genuinely happy people. If you're vegan this spot is idyllic! It's a non-alcoholic restaurant.

Only thing was that the bread was microwaved which gave it a poor texture.

We ordered via Uber Eats, 2 mains, 2 salads, 2 soups, 4 pancakes and 2 frozen yoghurts. It took 2 hours to get to us as it was considered a large order.

The food, which all looks so inviting on their website and promises great gluten free ingredients, is sadly poor. The Cream and Cardomon Sweet Corn and Courgette Spinach soups were indelible as was the purple sprouts salad--the veggies were unripe. The felafel in the deluxe felafel was good but the wrap around it was overkill and I had to remove it to finish the dish. The pancakes were good, as was the moroccan carrot, cumin and cashew salad and coconut vegan yoghurt.

After eating this food for dinner both my spouse and I woke up twice in the night with stomach pains and badly needing to use the loo!

They are open until midnight, a rarity for Cape Town.

This would be our go to food place as we are health conscious and love Middle Eastern food, but they really need to work on the taste and ingredients of their dishes. plus the turn over time.

We would have loved to give this place a higher rating. They get an A for concept but a failing mark for execution and taste brings them to a two star rating.

hi! thank you so much for writing in, and also supporting our fledgling restaurant. Every place to improve I can pinpoint with feedback, and there are diamonds in the detail, thank you. I am surprisingly overwhelmed with the support for our food, which mushroomed in the last two weeks of being with Uber (who are right in the middle of a transition themselves from running deliveries past 930pm to operating later hours). Last Saturday we had six deliveries ready that were not even collected. In as much as seeing the demand, bringing in new staff and just this week extending our own operating hours to 3am, I am absolutely committed to quality checking, continuous development and ensuring each dish gets better and better. I also believe the severe delivery time issues with Uber themselves are on the mend. Please come out to dine with us on a Sunday any time from midday to midnight, let me cook for you and your partner personally and fill your bellies with the energy food I believe in. Please bring your order number along if you still have it??
