“Fabulous Tapas that kept on coming”

We went on Saturday night. As you can't book & as I have had to queue at the 'sister' Chefs Warehouse, we arrived early - 6pm. We got a table easily and at no time did the place feel crowded. The restaurant is bigger than Chefs Warehouse so I can't see crowding being a problem.

The food was very very good. Indian style tapas. Not hot at all. There is extra chilli and curry spices to add to control the heat. The portions are very big and we were struggling at the end. There was no space for pudding.

There is an interesting selection but whatever you do, don't miss the fish tacos. I need more of those.

Incredible welcome. Incredible service. Incredible food. Incredible vibe.

Catered for meet eaters, vegetarians and vegans at the drop of a hat, and the servers were charming and couldn't do more. Hats off to the chefs. They work hard and the open kitchen means that you get to see it. Watching them plate is a real joy to watch, and observing that certain things don't make the pass really hits home that they take real pride in the food. This has been the highlight of my eating in South Africa, whilst also being very chilled and understated. A perfect experience.

You need to arrive hungry if you're going to Thali for dinner. The only down side is they don't take reservations, so it can sometimes be tricky getting a table.

Indian style tapas priced per couple. Very well priced and the food just keeps coming, and everything was absolutely superb. Lovely décor and ambience as well and the service is top class.

We had a visitor from Italy and he was suitably impressed as well. Can highly recommend and will definitely be back.

We went for an impromptu dinner and loved it so much we returned with friends. The food was fabulous and just kept coming! The Indian twists on deconstructed deserts was the last delicious straw that sent us right over the edge. We had great service on both occasions. We will definitely return.
