Amazing little place on Long, a bit far from the end of Long with all the bars and restaurants, few options for vegetarians

Based on the reviews we decided to try this restaurant and were very happy with our decision. We enjoyed it so much we went back for second visit. Our favorites were the beef ravioli, deep-fried goats’ cheese (loved the mix of savory and sweet with the marmalade), and kudi. For a vegetarian dish the asparagus wrapped in parm cheese was very nice. We did not care so much for the Moroccan lamb meatballs. They have nice wines and service was very good. Check it out, get out your fork, and dig in.

We made reservations for dinner and it must be a popular place because after we confirmed we had to reconfirm the day before as well. We have eaten at many tapa places including Spain which truly has tapas that can't be beat. We ordered kudu tapas and maybe that is how the meat tastes but it was rather tough. The shrimps with pancetta wrap was dry and rather tasteless. My son ordered the risotto and only took a few bites. The meatballs were probably our favorite. The pitcher of sangria was good. Overall, there are other restaurants in Cape Town that we enjoyed so much better and so would not recommend.

This place was excellent!! A quaint little tappas Restauant! Firstly i loved the fact that the waitress Did not try and convince us to take additional plates as tappas are smaller than normal dishes. She recommended two per person and then we could see. We ordered 3 per person and since they were so delicious we ordered an additional plate. I would say skip the salad as the dished are great! We ordered the mushroom tart which was delicious, the kudu dish, the beef ravioli, the prawns dish and the auberiginies. All recommendations of our waitress Fay who was exceptional the whole evening. She also recommended the flourless chocolate cake which was great!!! Will definitely be back!! Highly recommended place!!

We came upon this restaurant around the corner from our hotel. It was quite crowded but the service was excellent and the food of a first class quality. We considered this a real find and had local exotic foods that were well prepared, tasty and reasonably priced. A real find.
