For me, the Cape Royale has to be one of the best hotels in Cape Town and in all my travels. The rooms are all lovely, with great beds, free WiFi, a TV and a nice sitting room area. The people working there are lovely and very open to conversation, which definitely improved our experience. While we didn’t have lunch or dinner at the hotel, however the breakfasts were very good and my only complaint was that the service was very relaxed, and so the food and drinks weren’t served particularly efficiently. Lastly, the hotel is also in a great location and most places by the waterfront are no more than a 10-15 minute walk away. I would definitely recommend this place if you are staying in Cape Town.

A great apartment with everything you need, comfortable, clean and in a great location. The parking and the Wi-Fi were great too. Really liked the coffee machine too. Definitely stay there again. Fabulous!

Fancy, well located but for the price we paid you’d think you’d get decent wifi??
The wifi was extremely week in the rooms, useless really, hence the comment for NO wifi. Not even the option to buy decent wifi.
Today’s society / business it was incomprehensible that the wifi was so lousy,, everything else was fine.

We arrived at 3:30am and we where glad that this hotel has 24hr desk. The apartments are extremely spacious, comfortable, private, and decent noise level control.

The master room (2 single beds pushed together has a shower and toilet), the 2nd room (double), has the bath and toilet.

All the convenient shops are close by... pharmacy, hairdresser, cafe, cycling etc. a nice stroll to the V&A.

Staff are lovely and helpful.

Breakfast cannot be charged back to the room - odd. Must be a different business.

Recommend - only if you can live without wifi.

I booked this hotel on short notice for a Sunday night.

I got the booking at a reduced rate (nearley 50%) assumingly as Sundays are not too busy. I was however very surprised at the value for money. It was a spacious 2 bedroom suite very weel equipt. Staff was friendly helpful and we enjoyed the o e night stay very much
