We took the suite, and it was very spacious, the property was old but we'll maintained.the kitchen was not well equipped and had to ask for everything. Water bottles were in short supply. The location was very good and many restaurants were nearby and waterfront was only a ten minute walk.

This hotel is located perfectly, easy access to all of Cape Town's tourist attractions. The staff are very friendly. Rooms are spacious and have everything one can need (including a washing machine.

small items that do need attention: Parking signage and a little TLC to the stairway to the sky bar. (well worth a visit)

I will definitely return

We stayed 4 nights in this hotel. It was fantastic. Loved the rooms and the staff were very helpful. It also suited our needs perfectly as it is across from the stadium. We will definitely be back! They have a valet service , which is brilliant, as they park and collect your car for you. Loved this service.

Very central, clean, friendly helpful staff. Love the many choices of eateries all around this hotel. We got a kitchen unit and its very spacious and super clean. I would most definitely stay there again.

Room Tip: Ask fora room with a view of the main street.

The hotel is conveniently located and one receives royal yet typically friendly Cape Town treatment. We were in a deluxe suite and it was clean and comfortable. There were several maintenance problems but most were sorted out immediately. I highly recommend them doing a thorough check soon otherwise things are going to go downhill and become expensive to repair all at once. Staff are kind, professional and lovely. I have a feeling that the more expensive rooms will be much nicer. The locality is excellent and the complimentary shuttle to and from the V&A is wonderful. It will be amazing if they would open their own restaurant because the outsourced options on the ground floor, while convenient, are not great for a hotel.
