We’ve been to Cape Town a few times but have never stayed in sea Point, we left booking this to very late, so we ended up booking the Penthouse with a Sea View. We arrived and were taken to the Penthouse which is a short car ride away, the area is very hilly and given I had a support on one leg walking between the hotel and the flat wasn’t going to be easy. The Penthouse is a self contained apartment in a small complex. It’s well laid out and has everything you would need, a couple of small things, communication with the hotel is either email or phone calls as no direct link, ( local mobile communication would be a good idea). We had dinner that evening at the hotel, the menu is limited and not that great, that’s the reason for the 4 star rating. The following day we had breakfast which is very good indeed, so many options and all fresh. The pool area is very nice if a little small, lunch snacks are good value and again very fresh. All the staff are amazing, Primrose, mo and Ashley all stood out in helpfulness and being warm and friendly.
A special mention to Phil who had to type out some winery recommendations twice and listen to us over breakfast.

Overall this is a great boutique hotel offering some great service. Would certainly look to stay in the main hotel next time.

Mark, Phil and the team do a great job.

My sister and I had an aromatherapy massage which is the best massage I have ever had, followed by a thouroughly enjoyable afternoon by the pool. The staff are amazing, friendly and the service is excellent. We did not see the hotel rooms, however, it would be a hotel I would chose to stay with my husband.

Extremely friendly and helpful staff always with a great smile. They are best in class when it comes to service and make you having a great stay.

Great pool and relaxing area as well as really nice spa and massage possibilities.

The breakfast is very delicious with a lot to choose from.
The dinner menu isn’t the best however it is an easy way to eat if you prefer not to go out.

It’s possible to rent a car from the hotel to fair prices. They have serial difference to choose between.

We was here doing Christmas and we really enjoyed our stay

Best wishes and happy new year to All the staff in Glen Hotel

Location, style, atmosphere and so many other things are just perfect at the Glen. One of the best places we have stayed in Cape Town.
A couple of things they have not got right which may or may not effect your stay. WIFI is not overly great. Pool beds are super close together, one minute I was having to listen to someone’s conversation and the next was getting smoke from a fellow lounger in my face. Parts of the room needs bit of TLC, basic things like the towel rail was coming off, the bathroom door hinge was loose and in a place where water is at shortage I was surprised that the shower had a leak. All small things easy to fix.
