I cannot overstate how lovely my stay at Dysart was. Central location but hidden away just enough to be out of the hustle and bustle of the city. Wonderfully styled rooms and common areas full of life and art. Delicious breakfast and light lunch items available. The staff, especially Denis, are so wonderful and helpful. Book now, thank me later, and say hi to Daisy lounging by the pool!

We enjoyed a 3 night stay at this beautiful hotel whilst in Cape Town. It's location was fantastic but had an air of calm about it that made you feel like you were away from the hustle and bustle.

The staff were extremely warm and welcoming and couldn't do enough for us, they were all incredibly friendly and helpful - and we particularly enjoyed the complimentary glass of wine on our arrival.

The whole experience at the Dysart was wonderful and we couldn't recommend the experience more highly.

Particular thanks to Denis and Daisy for their advice, warmth and great conversation - they certainly made the start to our South African adventure all the more special. THANK YOU! Naomi & Victoria xx

We had a fantastic stay at the Dysart. We had a great room on the second floor overlooking the pool and some oceanview. The room was very well appointed. What made the stay so outstanding was the hotel staff. Everyone was so friendly and anxious to help in anyway. We would definitely come back in a second. If you are in Cape town this is the place to stay. You are only minutes away by Uber to all the sites.

The hotel was nice and the staff very friendly. Two issues of concern. One I never managed to get a hot shower and secondly we were told the bottle of wine was complimentary. When we checked out we were being asked to pay for the wine. We explained we were told it was complimentary but the owner refused to l
isten and insisted we pay. So we paid as we didn't want to cause an issue with the staff but hence my first Trip Advisor review. It just left a bitter taste at the end of a great time in Cape Town.

The Dysarts is a quirky little boutique hotel in a nice area a bit away from the very touristy waterfront. Restaurants and grocery stores within easy walking distance.
The staff without exception were friendly and helpful making you feel right at home. Breakfast was excellent. Rooms were clean and comfortable, ours had a private little sitting area.
Not to be forgotten is the sweet little hotel cat named Daisy.
We very much enjoyed our four night stay.
