They just opened for a few days, I decided to invite my visiting friends from Indonesia and France to dine there. We ordered a plate of delicious bruschetta to share, 3 main courses and a bottle of white wine. While enjoying ourselves, suddenly one of the ladies started crying. Her cousin in Indonesia just passed on. She was really sad and continued to cry. We couldn't continue eating. Requested for our main courses to be cancelled if still not prepared yet or packed for take-away. We were informed we could just leave and not to worry about the bill even though we repeatedly insisted on paying. ''We are sorry for her loss. It is on the house.'' We were moved.
I came back a few days later to dine there. Kingklip dish. It was a good meal with generous serving of the wine by glass. Staff friendly and attentive. Chef took time to check if the meal was good.
It is a restaurant not only with a heart but lots of love to how they make diners feel good. Thank you!
