This restaurant is amazing. I've never had such delicious and original Italian pizza, except maybe in Italy itself. Highly recommend you try Ferdinando's pizza. The restaurant is comfy and has a nice vibe and obviously the two times I went there, the food was extremly good. Also try their banana milkshake if you wanna do yourself a favour :)

Came across Ferinando's whilst staying at the 'obs' which is only a two minute walk away.

From the outside the building is appealing and inside it is very eclectic, but very charming.

We had not booked, although we were lucky enough to get a table, it was just as well we went early evening as the place was full by the time we left. There is also upstairs for seating.

Each of us had our own pizza, it was divine and excellent value for money in Cape Town.

Loved is so much that we are going back on our last night in the area.

A definite must.

Thank reneroo

Very cozy place with UNO at every table that helps during the waiting time ;-) The local tab beer was pretty good and served with homemade Grissini and Garlicdip for starter. The pizzas are around 100 ZAR and very delicious.

We came with four people, ordered three pizzas, ravioli with feta filling in salvia butter, a Greek side salad and various drinks.
Although it was the afternoon and we were the only customers, it took about a century until our food arrived. The pizzas were very good, especially the Shanico (105 rand) with goats cheese. Unfortunately the ravioli (90) were quite depressing. The butter sauce tasted of nothing, there was not enough parmesan and the ravioli were sloppy. But because nobody came to our table anymore until we finished, I just ate it. Otherwise I would've probably given it back.
Good for pizzas, seemingly not really for pasta.

Thank Nora W

Cosy spot with the best pizza I've ever had - Diego has a passion for his food and restaurant which I really appreciate.

If you want something special try the lamb ravioli and the gnocchi is lighter than I've ever had, no idea how he does it.

thanks Brian! Diego works very hard on getting that gnocchi light and fluffy! it must be all the tai chi he has been doing ;)
