This place is only 50 yards from our hotel. Fancied a steak so seemed a good choice. Surprisingly quiet for a Saturday night we thought.
Deep fried calamari starter was lovely - crisp on the outside, succulent inside. Then had an excellent rump steak which was cooked spot-on. I wouldn't bother with the peppercorn sauce again, but the meat was so good it didn't really need it. Excellent bottle of red (Diemersdel 2015). The whole thing including tip came to R1,200 which, when you're used to London prices, is incredible value. Very polite waiter, maitre d' friendly.
