Everything about this place is 5 star. Ok the drive is steep but a very small price to pay for the amazing views. Mike and Morgan were great. We stayed in the Penthouse suite. O my, the views - and that's just from the bath !! Have already started to save up to go back.
If you book, you won't be disappointed.

So happy with our visit last year, that we stayed once again in the Penthouse Suite.
The suite is first class with a small kitchenette downstairs and a large bedroom and bathroom upstairs. However the piece de resistance is the crows nest high up, complete with two sun loungers, accessed via the bedroom patio door.
The views are absolutely stunning, with views out to sea and the mountains to the side and behind.
Breakfast sat out on the balcony with fantastic views is a great way to start the day.
Morgan and Mike are great hosts. Top tip-get Mike to book your evening meal, you usually end up with a good table.

Auberge du Cap is the perfect stay when visiting the western cape. High up on the mountain side with stunning views over Camps Bay. The driveway to the property must be one of the steepest in the world and takes you by surprise when you first drive up - but fine after that. All of the rooms are nice and a couple have been added since our last stay here. A restful,,peaceful and comfortable place to chill out after busy days touring the area. Breakfast is very good here includes cooked food and cold buffet - taken at tables on a communal veranda at 9am. Proprietors and hosts Mike and Morgan are very welcoming and helpful and will suggest places to visit-it's very useful to have friendly people with good local knowledge to help get the best from your holiday. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay again at Auberge and would have no hesitation to return again.

Room Tip: Nouveau suite is on two levels and feels very private.

We loved Auberge du Cap. All the spacious rooms have an excellent view with balconies. All amenities are provided for and Mike & Morgan a very attentive, knowledgeable and relaxed hosts. Next time w'll come to Cape Town will definitely stay here again. It's a superb location to explore Cape Town and the region, Camps bay is the place to be.
