We stayed here about 10 years ago and decided to stay again, sometimes when you go back to a place it sometimes not as good as the first visit ,but we were pleasantly surprised there had been changes but for the better, our room was great overlooking the ocean right across from the beach nice balcony with table and chairs and there is a breakfast area just below our room with a pool and outside seating ,the staff are very friendly and helpful in every way and the breakfast was very good lots of choice and nicely cooked, there is parking on the premises which was very handy as camps bay is very busy area ,and we just parked up and didn’t need to move the car again because all the restaurants and bars are a few yards away ,great for us .Of course there is a lovely beach across the road and views of table Mountain you can get the open top tour bus just across the road ,brilliant location,It can be windy in Camps Bay which we experienced on our last day but we can’t control the weather but there’s always the tours to go on

We have stayed at the Primi Seacastle numerous times and have always been welcomed by the host & manager Micheal .
He works with a fantastic team , Gloria , Syah and the ladies that look after the breakfast & rooms.
Micheal always goes the extra mile and his knowledge & experience of South Africa helps to make a perfect holiday.
The rooms have recently been refurbished making the stay more comfortable.
The views from the rooms are breathtaking of Camps Bay beach and the Twelve Apostles.
The location is superb with numerous restaurants & bars a two minute walk away.
The hop on bus stop is across the road, and there is a small hotel car park.
I would recommend this hotel & if you are lucky enough to stay Micheal & his team will surely make it a enjoyable.
We always try and build in a short stay into our itinerary when staying in Cape Town to relax and share a glass of wine on the terrace watching the beautiful sunsets.

Our room, (7, I believe) was clean, comfortable and the few stairs to the bathroom were not an issue. Entry to the room was from the side of the house and for the door to remain closed it had to be locked (something we forgot to mention to reception). Although our room did not have sea views (it was a last minute holiday), when the door was open we did get views along these of the guest house and pool to the ocean. We enjoyed late afternoon gin and tonics poolside (once pink tonic and once blue), especially on the second afternoon when it was very windy and being beachside would have been unpleasant. The included breakfast was okay: as we were not hungry we only had the cold offerings. The location is great, on the esplanade, elevated and a short walk from the restaurants and bars which meant that it was very quiet at night. The staff were friendly, helpful and although we did not have much luggage, the receptionist always assisted with it. We enjoyed our stay.

This is the best place to stay in Cape Town. I couldn't imagine my stay to be better. Very clean, comfortable with helpful staff, but the biggest advantage of this place is the hospitality and kindness of Michael, the manager. He is the best host ever and I would never look for another place in Cape Town knowing that Michael is there! Highly recommended!

My husband and I stayed here over Christmas and had a lovely time. The staff were so accommodating and kind and the free breakfast every morning was absolutely delicious! The rooms are small but well appointed and while our bathroom was a bit dated, the manager let us know they are renovating all the bathrooms and ours hadn't been done yet. The location was perfect as it's just across the street from the beach and is just far enough down the street from the "strip" of shops and restaurants to not be too loud but is close enough to be very walk-able.

Room tip: Ask for sea view. A bit more expensive but worth it.
