The 41 is a fabulous place to eat, and if you are there at the right time, watch the sun go down. The menu selection is wide and varied, my particular favourite is the ostrich fillet with pap, but everything we have eaten there is always excellent. The 41 has a nice sophisticated vibe, particularly in the evening, and if you are lucky you will get a visit from chef, Aristotle, himself. The man is a genius!

We stopped for lunch whilst visiting camps bay and had a lovely table overlooking the beach. The food and drink is also reasonable priced. A trendy place with good food.

Place is nice. Looking a bit posh. Service also good. Drinks good, but food overpriced and quality very regular. You pay for the view not food...

Camps Bay is a busy seaside resort with a strip along the front of busy bars and restaurants.
The 41 looked the most United to us as, whilst lively with music playing, the venue looked good, the prices reasonable and it faced on to the strip and beach, offering a front row seat at which to view all that carries on.
We had a most enjoyable dinner with cocktails and wine all served with friendly professionalism.
I must mention the Oysters which were some of the best I have eaten ("The woods" where I live ate very near the home of the world's best (Mersea)).
My wife had the ostrich as her main course which was also outstanding.
We returned twice for breakfast, once for afternoon drinks and tapas and, again, for dinner.
Every occasion left us satisfied and happy.

We made it just before the lunch time rush!
Decided to sit on a pavement side table below the decking and enjoy all the passers by.
We enjoyed a really excellent lunch here.
The aubergine parmigngana was to die for and the salad Nicoise was a great take on the french version with raw tuna ( actually not my thing). However apart from this South African twist it was delicious and wonderfully dressed.
We also ordered a selection vegetables and the spinach was creamy and quite delicious.
I would happily go back for another meal and cannot fault the service or the food.
