We arrived for a 1 night stay on our way to Cape Town, we had booked the rooms as opposed to the self catering. The rooms were being refurbished and we were "upgraded" to the self catering chalets.
While the grounds are beautiful, the chalets are in dire need of attention, aircon not functional. Furniture and decor circa 1970's.
Food had to be ordered in advance and a week before travelling we had requested a change to lamb - no such luck.
The dining area was dark and seemed to be unavailable as the lady at the front desk wanted to bring our food to our chalets?
We checked out and didn't stay!More
