Driving down from Parys to Cape Town, we were looking for pet friendly accommodation en route and settled for Beaufort West. They were very accommodating with our late arrival, and allowing us to have our new pet with us. The room was very comfortable and tastefully decorated. A lovely little touch that was the first that we had seen in all our travels, was a small bottle of milk in the fridge, as opposed to the other alternatives. The farm was off the N1 but well worth the little detour when you see what awaits you. The peace and quiet, comfy bed and beautiful sunrise was really worth it. I was sorry we didnt stay longer, but we were so anxious to get back home after being away for three weeks. The perfect end stop to our holiday. We will definitely be going back.
