We stayed 3 nights as part of a safari package and enjoyed our stay so much that I can honestly say its one of the best B&B's I have ever stayed in, and it gave great value for money. We received such a friendly, warm welcome from Elizabeth and Mandy who went out of their way to make us feel right at home. The staff who cleaned and assisted with preparing breakfast were attentive to our every needs and cleaned the rooms to a very high standard. We could make teas and coffees anytime, as well as help ourselves to sherry, delicious homemade muffins and rusks. The accommodation was first rate - really comfortable beds and well equipped rooms with a beautiful outdoor lounge veranda area with a small pool and African decor - great for relaxing after a busy day out on safari. For cooler evenings there was an equally beautiful lounge indoors. There was a wide choice of options for breakfast including delicious muesli & granadilla yoghurt sundaes, a variety of other yoghurts, mini croissants, juices, and a full cooked English breakfast buffet. Originally we had planned to eat out every evening but the food looked so good, we decided to have an evening meal at the B&B. The three course meal with a choice of three excellent South African wines, was carefully prepared by Elizabeth and reflected South African traditional and modern cuisine. The food was fresh, home cooked and absolutely delicious. Would highly recommend to other visitors to the St Lucia/Imfolozi/Cape Vidal area.
