Old, dirty and unwelcoming. The tiles on the floor were all cracked. The dishcloths were dirty as was the sink plate dryer. The remote for the TV didn't work. The benches outside on the veranda were in need of repair. The bedding was about 20 years old. Revolting!
We stayed here very last minute for 2 nights a couple of weekends ago. The chalet we had was close to the pool. Chalet a little dated but very clean and everything we needed. The pool was fabulous! It didn’t stop raining ( torrential!) the whole time we were there and there were torrents of water everywhere so we very much enjoyed the pool in lieu of the more usual safaris!
Manager was great and gave loads of uno including telling us if we wanted to leave St Lucia to go asap as part of the road had been washed away!!
We’d love to come back and enjoy everything the area has to offer and we’d probably stay here again.

Very nice place in St Lucia, very well located, peaceful, clean, monkeys all around, very nice garden and swimming pool, all your needs is there, and very friendly services, very helpful. You then can do everything, all activities by walking distance, lots a very nice restaurant around, worthwhile to spend couple days or more. Everything was really great.
St Lucia is our sanctuary. Our home away from home when we need a weekend to switch off and unwind. Our go to spot since 2013 has been Manzini chalets on Mackenzie street. The 2 bedroom , 1 bathroom self catering apartments provide more than adequate space. They are well appointed and adequately equipped to make your stay comfortable. The grounds are immaculately maintained and the large pool inviting pool provides the ideal cool down after a long drive .. the manager Odette , goes hand in hand with Manzinis charm and personalized service. The complex is situated within a stones throw from dining spots, the sunset jetty and the famous market. Some of my most cherished memories with my family have been created at Manzini. From enjoying a traditional south African braai under the communal Boma, then watching the hippo come up and graze on the lawns under the magical African sky to finally climbing into a warm cosy bed.. your time at Manzini will leave you yearning to visit again.
