Home away from Home

5.0 of 5 bubblesReviewed 01 Apr 2024
If you are looking for that quick getaway to rejuvenate, revitalise and just refresh, yet still wanting the comforts of home. Then I cannot thank Sandy and Ross enough. The service is beyond excellent, the place is beautiful and offers you all the comforts of home whilst indulging in the beautiful surroundings of nature. I would say Perfect, absolutely Perfect.

Very professional and making their guests feeling welcome and relaxed. Rooms were very clean and of high quality. Breakfast was amazing (loved the freshly baked muffins) and the service was very professional. Will recommend the place to anyone.

We had such an amazing stay in Rock House, was just myself and my hubby and we enjoyed every second of our stay. They go over and above. Made us feel very special. The unit is amazing and the layout fantastic. To wake up every morning with that wonderful view was an absolute plus!! The main house offers so much and are so well kept. We LOVED our stay and will go back again and again!

Just back from the most incredible stay at Tomjachu!
We stayed with friends in the Valbon Villa and couldn’t have asked for more! The views are incredible and the wildlife just mesmerising!
We enjoyed a fantastic 5 star meal at the lodge one evening and the bush dinner was another highlight. We went on several game drives and the guides were so knowledgable and couldn’t do enough to help with our children (3years and 18 months) they loved it!
All of the staff couldn’t have done anymore for us and made us feel right at home.
Just the most incredible holiday and memories for a lifetime.
Thank you so much
We hope to see you aging

Room tip: Flying from the UK we flew Heathrow to johannesburg. There is a very simple, inexpensive internal flight from Johannesburg to Nelspruit

This is an amazing place. Everything is very well maintained. The service is fantastic, all staff is very friendly and helpful. The cottage was great and the view, wow, wow! In the morning the zebra's where on our terrace and when we were hiking we saw a lot of other animals.
The food in the restaurant was also great.
We will be back!

What a amazing lodge we were speechless by the spectacular surroundings.. We had the Keepers cottage and we loved it. Keepers is a little house with kitchen, living room, separate bedroom, a small bathroom, a veranda with garden and barbecue. A mother and baby zebra passed by our house every day. Tomjachu lodge is located in a beautifully fenced and safe area, where you can walk various hiking trails and encounter zebras, impalas, wilde beast, giraffes. The terrace of Tomjachu, where you can have a delicious breakfast, lunch, dinner or just a drink, has a breathtaking view. Abigail ensures that you lack nothing, she awaits you after a day of safari to Kruger National Park with her generous smile and warm welcome. Haysleigh the guide/driver accompanied us to Kruger for 2 days. We really had a fab time. And we would have liked to stay longer, because 4 nights was actually too short. We will definitely come back here in the future, what a fantastic place. Thank you all dear people, especially Abigail, Priscilla and Ross. Until we meet again.
