The breakfast was the saving grace of this hotel. It was an excellent selection, well presented and cooked and excellent service.
The rest of the hotel was a disappointment. The reception may look fancy and check-in was quick. The room was spacious with fresh white linen. The bathroom had scum marks around the bath and limescale marks in the toilet. One of the towels was beginning to go threadbare. Complementary toiletries were nice.
Bed was decent and an average sleep was had but the 9 air conditioning units outside the window hummed throughout the night. Being on holiday, we did not expect to get woken up at 7am by a refuse man singing loudly (albeit in tune) while stacking cardboard.
The swimming pool was clearly out of use but no mention of this was made. If it was in use then the black looking water was very uninviting and it was in the middle of the entrance courtyard where people were having social drinks.
Throughout the stay, I was going to give this review a score of 2 but the breakfast saved it and was well worth it.
3 stars doesn't mean clean or quiet. I'd personally book somewhere else.More
