Nice resort with helpful staff found. They kept the landscaping in very good condition. Our unit 2A and deck area was cleaned daily except Sundays . Very large clean pool area. We enjoyed the calm of the stream passing in front of chalet, and the abundant trees., very calming. The food at the restaurant was good. Very glad we chose to visit Sanbonani, will be back.

After our long trip this was very welcome. Reception was a breeze We were given one free neck massage voucher and given our WiFi password and our card
Off we went to our chalet which was spotless two bedrooms ..both ensuite and a dream kitchen.
Open plan with dining and lounge area.
WiFi was excellent and easy to connect.
Excellent location for shopping and visiting the area.The patio overlooked the Sand river but apart from the local cattle and one shy tree squirrel - no wild life visited us.
There is a big fat cat black with white socks scrounging for some love and attention.

Phabeni gate best for KNP
Checkers is best for your self catering
If you do not mind a slightly longer trip go via Mashishing and the Long Tom pass and going back to Gauteng go via Sabie and miss White river and Nelspruit. The views are unbelievable.
We spent a lovely week at Sanbonani, which is close to Phabeni Gate of the Kruger National Park.
Staff were very friendly and helpful and our chalet was nice and clean. The swimming pool area is fantastic.
Love this place. Got timeshare there more than 30 years. Never get tired of this place. Lovely chalets. Two and three bedrooms. Tennis courts, swimming pools. Hotel and many more. Near to Phabeni gate to the Krugerpark. Lot of sightseeings from Sanbonani.
Enjoyed every minute we were there with whole family. Beautiful scenery all around. The kids loved swimming especially with the different pools. The chalets are clean and the view from our Chalet overlooking the river and mountain was beautiful and calming... will definitely be going back soon 🤗🤩💗
