Had a day trip with PK Safari's on the 3 of July, was the best safari drive we have ever been on. Start off with 3 big male lions, saw the big 5 before 10 and ended with mating rhinos (once in a life time xp). Our guides Bernhard and Hennie were fantastic. Highly recommend booking a trip with them, will certainly not be the last time we book a trip with them.

Two American friends and myself were visiting the Kruger Park, and being not quite sure what to expect, we had booked a trip with Private Kruger Safaris on our first day. We had a great day out, taking pics of elephants, zebras, giraffes, rhinos, buffalos and lions. We got in-depth stories of how important and fragile the ecosystem in the park is, and some really great photo-ops which we would otherwise probably have missed. The tours are in constant radio contact with each other and know the park like the back of their hand. They can therefore take you to good sightings you'd otherwise miss. The trip was a very good first introduction to Kruger and made it so much easier to navigate the park on our own in the next days. Highly recommended!

We were with a group of 4 and had Bernhard and his brother Hennie as our guides. In a three day private safari we had the luck to see about 30 mammal and 40 bird species. 4 out of the big 5. A pitty we missed the leopard, but overall a great experience it was.
In our 3 week tour in South Africa, we saw the Cape region, Panorama Route, the Drakensbergen, Garden Route, even did the Bloukrans jump, but the absolute top activity was this safari.
We would definitely advise doing a safari, the excitement lasts all day, never knowing what comes next. Even the ones without a passion for nature, loved it. If possible, try to have a tour for multiple days with an experienced guide. There is much added value in having a guide, but Bernhard and Hennie really did a fantastic job entertaining us and keeping us focused. Just contact them and give them your timings and budget.

We had a great full day safari with Queintin as our guide. We were a family of four and had the vehicle all for ourselves. Queintin was very knowledgeable and always had Plan B and C in mind if A did not work. He made sure were perfectly placed at all good sightings, to get good pictures, he being a photo enthusiast himself. Some of sightings were indeed fantastic. We saw a lioness on rocks and as she got up and started walking down, Quentin was quick to move the right close to her path as she crossed the road and went into the bush.

Indeed, we had a very satisfying safari experience with Private Kruger Safaris!

I see a lot of forumers rooting for self drives instead of guided safaris. I also did some self drive too at Kruger and also enjoyed the experience. But a guided safari with a good guide has several merits. A good guide is better informed, more knowledgeable than inexperienced self driver so chances of quality sightings are much higher if you have a good guide with you. Also, instead of holding the steering, you could be holding your camera. The vehicles are customized for good view and the guides have walkie talkies and get to know of sightings quickly. I am convinced that guided safari with a good guide will definitely add value to your experience.

With Quintin as our guide, we had an amazing time from the get-go! He is very personable and has a big network to get info from other guides for the best sightings. He's knowledgeable and respects the park & wildlife.

Where the wildlife pops up and at what time is a matter of luck and this is important to remember for safari guests. However, it does take a trained eye to spot an animal which we would have easily missed several times over had it not been for Quintin.

I would highly recommend this company. Also, unlike several other bigger companies, we got more of a personalized safari tour which we highly appreciated.
