After stumbling through safari websites, I enquired with outlook through the website and within a couple of days was emailed by Elsabe in regards to the holiday i was looking for. I wanted to book a safari holiday for my partners 30th birthday, but at this point thats all i knew. This was a big deal for me as was the most expensive holiday i have ever booked, i as worried at first with being taken for a ride and losing out on money etc so really wanted to make sure who i booked with was the best i could fine. I also couldn't believe the cost of the trip for what they wanted to offer.

From then on Elsabe went out her way to plan and work with me in creating our dream safari holiday. I had a tight budget which meant that even the amount of time we were way was only 5 days with travel time, but nothing was too much trouble for Elsabe. She was personable, helpful, informative and genuinely wanted to help me make this holiday a dream. I had months of talking things through with Elsabe due to trying to book time off for my partner, trying to add transfers etc.

As the days grew closer to the trip outlook did encounter some issues with the camp we were due to stay in, but this was put to rest straight away with Elsabe putting us in an even better lodge with a swimming pool and beautiful room overlooking the Sabie river. No extra charge was added and it meant that our trip was even better.

When we arrived in Joberg, we were an hour late so i was worried that out transfer would not be there, but we were met with no issue and smile by the outlook driver. We were taken for our first two nights to the Lakefield outlook lodge and met by louie, everything was so smooth, all bags were carried for us and everything was just so chilled and easy. our room at Lakefield was beautiful with a freestanding bath perfect to relax after a long couple of days travelling.

The lakefield lodge was very quiet, but thats all we wanted, we spoke to Louis who booked us in for a day of sightseeing the next day with Milton a guy who works with the lodge. Milton the next day collected us and was very knowledgeable and friendly the whole time, nothing again was too much trouble, he was fun and happy to take us to extra locations on the way to and from Soweto and the museum which were part of the tour. He even got one f his drivers to collect us from our evening meal that night at a small fee so we wouldn't need to use Uber as Uber were having issues out there.

After two days at Lakefield we then had our transfers to Kruger, which again were very smooth and no issue at all. When we got to Kruger National Park we were so excited this is what we had been waiting for. We were met by Dale in our own private safari jeep. From that moment on we had the most personal amazing experience on a 3 day safari . Dale went above and beyond to make out trip own own, he took our bags and checked us in at our hotel whilst we were on our sunset drive so we had nothing to worry about, he came for dinner with us every night and we had nothing to worry about from start to finish. We saw the big 5 and more, we sent 13 hours in the park the second day and it didn't even feel like it because it just was so amazing.We were up at 4:30am everyday to make the most of everyday in the park and Dale was happy to do whatever we wanted and wake whenever we wanted to get there. I really couldn't recommend having a private safari with dale enough. The sabie bush lodge where we stayed was lovely, we didn't spend a lot of time there as we wanted to spend the majority of our time on safari, but our second evening sitting on loungers overlooking the river, watching hippos and the sun going down, to then watching the stars after dinner was something i will never forget.

We then made out wake back to lakefield for another night and another tour with milton to the tribal village to pack in as much as we could for our last day, before milton to us to the airport for our return. I can honestly say i couldn't recommend Outlook enough, all the staff were amazing and they really have made the trip better than i ever thought it would be. The value for money for what we received was just amazing and i will never forget this trip. I cant thank them enough and my parter really did have the best 30th birthday! Thank you thank you thank you!!
