Just arrived from a trip of a lifetime with Kruger wildlife safaris. It has been a dream of mine to do a safari since my grandfather introduced me to the world of travel when I was young.
From the moment your picked up in the private transfer van & taken to the camp that's located in southern Kruger national park I knew this was going to be a great experience. The atmosphere of this place is absolutely awesome. Our group was mostly young people & also solo travellers so its super easy to meet people we all got along very well on the outings & evening dinners.

THE DRIVES
I took the four day camping safari. This included four drives in total. one in the afternoon you arrive, two the second day morning & evening, one in the morning before you leave back to Joburg. Everyone i spoke with mentioned it was such amazing value for money considering what’s included.
The vehicles they use are super new & amazing comfy this is so important as your out for three hours each drive, the seating positions are really high this gives you the best chance to spot animals in the brush.
Everyday we to a different routes to make sure we covered as much ground as possible. the great thing about using a company like this is that the drivers talk to each other concerning sighting so you have a much higher chance of seeing animals than a self drive.

So what did we see? Well to be honest everything except for the leopard but this was understandable. There are so many elephants here, my favourite animals. For sure you will have daily sighting but one of my favourite had to be a chameleon that was crossing the road. It was incredible that our driver Paul spotted it. An animal around 10cm long, that why i think everyone needs to go with a guide here as you will miss opportunities like that when you on your own.

ACCOMMODATION
Its true glamping. The tents are set up for 2 people but if your travelling alone you will have it all for yourself. They have comfy beds with nice linen, lights, fan, safe & a veranda for watching the fabulous kruger sunsets. Toilets & showers are close by with 24h hot water, they also have a pool onsite to cool down in the hot midday sun.

SERVICES
The chefs here are producing some amazing local food. Included is a three course meal in the evening, two course breakfasts after you come back from the morning drive. Snacks & drinks are provided too. The staff here really go above & beyond always accommodating everyone from vegans to gluten free its not an issue here.

STAFF
Well what can i say.. awesome would be the word. From the guides to the chefs everyone was always smiling & made an effort to interact with everyone it was such a communal atmosphere. I have to say that my favourite guide was Paul. This guy was just amazing his knowledge, humour & general outlook on life made our game drives a fantastic experience.
I’d like to give a big shout out to Brad whose part of the team making this a truly once in a lifetime experience.

If you are going to Kruger, this is the place to stay and go with for safaris!! the guides are amazing and they know the park. you are actually staying in the park so you don't waste time driving to the park. Pretty fun, we were the ones caged in not the animals. could see animals from our tents(cabins). we saw all the big 5 and more. I have been on many safaris and this blows them all away!!! Staff is very accomodating, polite, helpful and just full of good times. such a positive vibe, great set up to meet other travelers. very well run and they make the most of your time. nice little store right there and facilities are nicce. wifi not great but you are out in the middle of know where so it's kind of nice. would definitly do the guided tours as you have more eyes looking for animals (tours are only like 8 or 9 people) also guides talk to each other and know where the animals may be..much better chance of seeing the animals with a guided tour.

We absolutely loved our camping safari experience with Outlook! Before booking, we reached out to the tour operator with dozens of questions and Salomi answered all of them in a timely and professional manner. From start to finish, the tour was exceptional—well-organized, efficient, and punctual. We were hesitant about staying in a tent, but it was in great condition and had all the necessities, including electrical outlets! The facilities at the camp were well taken care of and the food provided during breakfast and dinner was exceptional. A big shout-out to the head chef for taking care of our dietary restrictions—he did a fantastic job at putting together carefully considered delicious dishes. The guides who took us out on the drives were knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and gave us plenty of opportunities to take some photos. Thanks for the wonderful memories, Outlook!

Normally I'm a critical person, but I can't say a bad word about outlook safaris. I really recommend it when you want to go on a safari. Price-quality is great. The guides were amazing. We want to specially thank Paul, our guide, who did the almost impossible by showing us the Big 5 in only 1 hour (no joke, we were extremely lucky). Paul told us a lot about the animals and his own safari experiences. We also want to thank Jeremiah, who was always there to help us, and of whom we learned a lot about South African culture. A last compliment goes to the chef, who makes excellent food (also for vegetarians). We will never forget this safari, and definitely recommend it to other people!
