We are a German family with 3 teenagers and visited Nsele Lodge in August.
Olaf and his team is very friendly, we enjoyed the hospitality and felt at home.
We can really recommend this lodge and the safari with Olaf, who is very experienced and skilled. We learned a lot.

We had the pleasure to stay here for two nights on our tour. The lodge was great. Rooms were clean, tidy and of a reasonable size. Nice comfy beds with mosquito nets. Bathroom were large. Wifi is available at a small cost.
The hosts were brilliant. Stephanie definitely knew how to cook. We were well fed both nights with a brai the first night and a local curry the next. Deserts were amazing.
We had a full day safari with Oalf. Early start with breakfast sandwiches on the go. A highly knowablable guide who made sure we had a great day in Kruger. It was dark by the time we got back to the lodge as he fitted in as much as possible.
Would love to visit again if I ever go back to Kruger

I can't say enough sweet things about this property. I will say that Olaf is the BEST tour guide there is.. within one day at the park we saw nearly every single animal in the book.. this was thanks to Olaf for spotting them. I would have never spotted them alone. His wife cooked incredible meals from stratch. See you again!

Been coming to this haven for roughly 2 years and quite frankly ticks all the boxes. A true South Africa gem in the heart of the Greater Kruger region and only an hour drive to the main gate of Kruger National Park. The drive alone there is an adventure to say the least and so much to take in. Stephanie, Olaf, The staff and all the dogs make this place an unforgettable experience. Keep a look out for bush baby and honey badger in the night. DO NOT take ANY notice of " that one " terrible rating. T I A = This Is Africa and clearly this wonderful connection was abandoned at this gateway to Southern Africa. Mooi bly tannie en oom !

Spent the day visiting the white lions and took a bush walk with Olaf. The experience was wonderful and informative. Grand kids stayed at the lodge and "the ladies" watched them with care and love. We had an authentic "bush" lunch back at the lodge and enjoyed some interesting stories from Olaf and his lovely wife.
