Timbavati Safari Lodge was our first stop in Africa. First let me say how organized they are, from airport transfers, safaris, change of itinerary etc. Very friendly and accommodating, meal preferences, last minute activity requests (Kylie and Rob). The accommodation are private cabins (rondavels), bed, bathroom and front veranda . The shower was a little odd and is in need of upgrading. The food is plentiful, very fresh and beautifully prepared by the kitchen ladies. The bar, pool, boma and fire pit areas are a great way to spend an evening. And at all times you can watch the local wildlife wander by!!
But it is the game drives that this lodge excels at. With guides like Godfrey you will have memories to last you a lifetime.
We felt like family the whole time.More
